I'm sure that my blog is kind of a little bit dead for this week.
Yes, I'm very sure. It's been a week since i last blogged, and that was while I'm on the train back home from work last week.
So here's what's going on for me in this (hectic) week.

I swear I'm not gonna attend my public speaking lecture anymore.
Afterall, there's no attendance being marked anyway. Reason being that there's only 6 public speaking lecture, and each being an hour or less. It's a complete waste of my time.
Work on Tuesday was really a slack. The snow globe and Photo Booth wasn't up on Tuesday yet and I was transferred to the Redemption booth, which i think there's a lot of work to do. However, because of my 'talent', I was stationed to take care of the AV console. For those who doesn't know, I have a 5 year experience in Audio Visual equipments and stuffs related to it. I won't call myself a professional, but I think I'm just a curious cat.
Cool isn't it.
However, things took a massive U-turn on Friday. Work wasn't like it used to be. The snow globe was up for the first time, and there was many power trips. Hate that but got to accept that reality.
Because of the shortage of manpower, the other brother and me have to do many things outside of our jobscope. Which is somehow unfair to us though.
Nevermind that since it's only one day. But what makes me frustrated and angry is that they took the last customer at 10pm, take and print photo which lasted till 10.15pm.
By then, we then started to pack our equipments and bring it down to the basement storeroom which was right beside the middle of the carpark and there were so much dust. By the time, we finished all these work, it was 10.40pm already.
The problem here right now is that, I'm getting paid till 10pm and yet, were told to do extra things without any extra pay. I mean if it's minor stuffs and only lasted till 10.15pm (which i still barely accept it), then it's alright to me. It's only 15mins, i won't be that petty anyway.
But shit, it's a 40mins work done and yet, no benefits were given.
Free labour, you call that. I spoke to the mall management along with my bro and thankfully, they were understanding and willing to speak to the company dealing with the photo booth.

Enough of those raging. Time for some fun.
Today was really interesting and fun. I had a BBQ with my alumni members at Pasir Ris Park.
Although only less than 40 people turned up, the atmosphere was there, everyone was having fun catching up with their old friends.
And yup, managed to get a talk with Mrs Tan and Mr Minjoot as well, especially about the topic of the alumni and its path ahead.
There were many suggestions given and all of it seems to be a good idea. However, this means that there will be more commitment as well. I have to better manage my time in the time to come.
Hopefully, one day I'll be better.
